I fell in love with books as a child. During a lengthy illness books became my constant companions introducing me to many characters and faraway places. The love of both grew over the decades. Visits to twenty eight countries and digestion of over a thousand books has not yet dampened my enthusiasm. In fact, it has whet my appetite for sharing places and musings with those who are curious.
In real life, I am a retired Registered nurse, an educator, a mother and grandmother who loves adventure, travel and gardening.
